Family Update!

The weather has been warmer, the pups have been outside a lot and that equals lots and lots of fun! Beside one little tiny tiny problem we've been dealing with. Hot Spots. Dublin is so prone to them and when she is licking anywhere on her body because of an itch or tiny bump it becomes so much worse.

The little booger has had a cone on the last few days trying to make her think she cant lick the spot. WRONG. Her body is so long she can still reach it. As you can tell she beats the cone up quite a bit and has layer of duck tape on it. Poor thing got a little sympathy from her big brother for a moment there.

This is the wondrous irritation Mom gets to powder every 3-5 hours lol. :)

Any who, The gang has been up and at um playing out in the yard and enjoying the warm sun. Seems like our neighbors took the hint from our conversation we had about training your dogs and she has somehow stopped her lab from running/jumping up on the fence. Since then we've been able to enjoy the yard for hours at a time with no distractions or interruptions! Thank you neighbors! Maybe we can take down the eye sore tarp fencing sooner rather than later!

Big smiles from a happy boy. This pup has been obsessed, and when I say obsessed I mean he has torn his paw pads and had no reaction because he loves the tennis ball so much. Great exercise for him though!

Nanook has been rolling in the yard perfecting his doggy cologne odor and  has been sun bathing in the cool blade of fresh cut grass. What a life to live. Luxury is Nanook's style.

Dublin is a bandwagon kinda girl. She's into whatever the other are into and if that means everyone is just laying around, she has to interrupt their sunbathing with wrestle time lol. I'm always outside when they are to keep close watch and she'll tend to sit in the lawn chair next to mine to keep an eye on what everyone else is into.

August loves to squirrel watch. This girl will stalk a rodent for long periods of time just to keep occupied. She has her "boo" as we call it which is whatever soft toy she's favoring at the time, and will ask to play fecth for a few rounds to get some running time in.

This is the Chuck It. The wonder itself. I don't have to touch the slobbery, wet, grassy, muddy ball and I can throw it with ease. This stick means PLAY TIME!!!!

Kodak running after the tennis ball.

If I don't pay attention for 2 minutes to ball time, this is the image at my feet until I do.

I've never met a dog so in the game of Fetch. He loves it!!!

Carrots have been a big hit for us this year. I'll buy a bag for $1.29 and they last a whole week. Great snack and once chilled will keep them cool in the heat. Great for cleaning their teeth too.

Sister's enjoying each others company.

Sprawled out in the grass.

Look at the little bunny I found in the yard. She loves her carrots!

Overall We've been enjoying an wonderful abundance of family time, healthy play/exercising and I don't think they'd have it any other way. Yard time is fun time!
