Dublin is quite a dog. I have countless clients who tell me "You have the best dog on the face of the this Earth" and they ask me "How did you get her to be so well behaved?" Dublin is a diamond in the rough seeing how we came about her. She was the runt of her litter and was colored as the most undesirable colors of an Australian shepherd. Her siblings were all Merle or rusty red. Her mom and dad were 55lbs and up but even at 2 months she was half the size of her brother. We ended up with a 34lb ball of nothing but love.
Dublin looked like a tiny puff ball and from day one I started training her to be a performer.
She wore bows and sat in the roller chair at our front desk when I was at work.
She would come home to a daycare of her own and learned to have a split personality in a way with her siblings at home. She became 2nd in command even at a young age over powering the boys and setting herself under August the pack leader.
She grew into her fur and became even cuter.
She always had to know where her "humans" were at all times. Even when I'd sneak out of the room she would come find me to run up and snuggle.
She became a very dedicated dog.
Working daily is her favorite thing to do. Sitting at that desk and begging for cookies performing a few tricks that make people laugh.
Dublin takes a lot of energy out on chewing. Antlers, bones even giant sticks from the yard! She has the cleanest teeth of the bunch that's for sure!
A lot of people tell me how tolerable she is. She let me put a hot dog costume on her at Halloween, she will wear hats, glasses and anything else just to please you.
She loves to cuddle and her Daddy is one of her favorite people.
She can be a little awkward at times even in the way she sits.
Belly rubs!?!?!
This little girl definitively has a special place in my heart. Heck, she's pretty much my co worker always under my feet ready to work! I see her as the Robin to my Batman. :)
She's turned out to be a beautiful little girl with a big heart regardless of her size.
